On Saturday, 12 November 2022, Al-Azhar Alumni UK held a seminar titled “Azharites Against Extremism,” marking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the World Organisation for Al-Azhar Graduates, which is chaired by the Grand Imam, Dr Ahmad al-Tayyeb, Shaykh al-Azhar.
Attendees at the seminar included various imams, chaplains, and teachers from different cities in the UK, as well as senior students of sacred knowledge. The seminar was introduced by the Vice-President of Al-Azhar Alumni UK, Bakhtyar Pirzada al-Azhari, and included presentations on key themes, including the history and significance of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and its historic scholarship, an introduction to the World Organisation, and information concerning the UK branch. Various essays and writings were presented to the attendees amidst the discussions, and the role and background of the landmark Human Fraternity Document were highlighted.
Guests at the seminar and members of the board of Al-Azhar Alumni UK paid tribute to Al-Azhar Al-Sharif on marking fifteen years since the inception of the World Organisation for Al-Azhar Graduates, which is a growing network of Al-Azhar graduates and supporters across the world.
ندوة “أزهريون ضد التطرف” عقدها فرع المنظمة ببريطانيا
عقد خريجو الأزهر في المملكة المتحدة يوم السبت الموافق 12 نوفمبر 2022 ندوة بعنوان “أزهريون ضد التطرف” بمناسبة مرور خمسة عشر عاما على تأسيس المنظمة العالمية لخريجي الأزهر، والتي يرأسها الإمام الأكبر الدكتور أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف.
حضر الندوة العديد من الأئمة والمعلمين من مدن مختلفة في المملكة المتحدة، بالإضافة إلى طلاب قسم الشريعة. قدم الندوة نائب الرئيس للفرع الأستاذ بختيار بيرزاده الأزهري، وتضمنت عروضاً حول الموضوعات الرئيسية، بما في ذلك تاريخ وأهمية الأزهر الشريف ومنحته التاريخية، ومقدمة عن المنظمة العالمية، والمعلومات المتعلقة بفرع المملكة المتحدة. تم تقديم العديد من المقالات والكتابات للحضور وسط المناقشات، وتم تسليط الضوء على دور وثيقة الأخوة الإنسانية التاريخية.
أشاد ضيوف الندوة وأعضاء مجلس إدارة الفرع بالأزهر الشريف بمناسبة مرور خمسة عشر عامًا على إنشاء المنظمة العالمية لخريجي الأزهر، وهي شبكة متنامية من خريجي الأزهر والداعمين في جميع أنحاء العالم.
