SCR London organises the First International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities in the Islamic World held in London and WAAG UK receives Dr Gadelrab upon her arrival to the UK.
On Sunday 27 May 2012, Dr Olfat Ibrahim Gadelrab (Head, Faculty of Commerce at Al-Azhar University, Egypt), arrived at London Heathrow Airport and was received by a delegation representing the UK Branch of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates (WAAG UK). The delegation comprised of Bakhtyar H Pirzada al-Azhari (Vice President, WAAG UK), Zein Hud al-Azhari (Administration Manager, WAAG UK) and Haseeb Akhtar al-Azhari (Executive Assistant, WAAG UK).
Dr Olfat was accompanied by her daughter on her flight to the UK and upon their arrival, they were introduced to the office bearers of WAAG UK and given a brief introduction to the history and works of WAAG UK. The booklet ‘Islam and Peace’ of Shaykh Dr Abdul Fadeel al-Qawsi was presented to her.
Dr Olfat came to the UK to participate in the First International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities in the Islamic World which was organised by the Social Consultancy and Research Centre of London (SCRL):

Dr Olfat attended the conference for three days and chaired the first session from 8:30 am to 9:45 am on Tuesday 29 May 2012 at The Theatre, University of London, Malet Street, London. In this session a number of lecturers talked on various research projects at the end of which was a question and answer session.
On the third day of the conference, Wednesday 30 May 2012, Dr Olfat presented her research paper in the fourth session at the Galleon Suite A, Royal National Hotel, Russell Square, London at 2:00 pm. Her presentation was entitled:

Representatives from WAAG UK attended the conference on this third day, namely Zein Hud al-Azhari and Haseeb Akhtar al-Azhari.
The purpose of this conference was to provide an opportunity for the research scholars and various delegates from different Middle Eastern countries to exchange ideas, experiences and to establish business or research relations. The conference project was chaired by Dr Abdul Muhsen Ayedh al-Qahtani, whom WAAG UK representatives met and introduced him to the works of WAAG UK.
