Al-Azhar Alumni UK, which is the UK branch of the World Organisation for Al-Azhar Graduates, extends its congratulations to Professor Dr ‘Abd al-Dayim Nusayr, the Organisation’s Secretary-General and Advisor to the Grand Imam Dr Ahmad al-Tayyeb, Shaykh al-Azhar, upon his appointment as Member of the Egyptian Senate (Upper House) of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In addition to the honourable members of the Board of Directors of the World Organisation for Al-Azhar Graduates in Egypt, the Patron of Al-Azhar Alumni UK, Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada, and President Bakhtyar Pirzada al-Azhari, warmly welcome this appointment and consider it a worthy designation.
President Bakhtyar Pirzada said: “Since the establishment of Al-Azhar Alumni UK in 2011, we have benefitted from the wisdom, insight and commitment of Dr ‘Abd al-Dayim Nusayr. His long standing service to Al-Azhar and its Grand Imam is a testament to his competence and vision. His appointment in the Egyptian Senate will further enhance the cause of serving his country and people. We wish him all the best.”
Dr ‘Abd al-Dayim Nusayr expressed his gratitude and humbleness at being appointed as Member of the Senate. He said: “This is a duty, and we hope to be worthy of this responsibility.” Dr ‘Abd al-Dayim Nusayr singled out education as his top priority whilst in office, since education serves as the foundation of every society and no nation can develop without education. He outlined his intention to revive Egyptian values, particularly in the social and economic sectors.
يتقدم فرع المنظمة العالمية لخريجي الأزهر في المملكة المتحدة بخالص التهاني للأستاذ الدكتور عبد الدايم نصير، الأمين العام للمنظمة ومستشار فضيلة الإمام الأكبر الدكتور أحمد الطيب شيخ الأزهر، بمناسبة تعيينه عضوًا في مجلس الشيوخ بجمهورية مصر العربية.
بالإضافة الي أعضاء مجلس إدارة المنظمة العالمية لخريجي الأزهر في مصر، يتقدم راعي الفرع ببريطانيا، الشيخ محمد إمداد حسين بيرزاده، ورئيس الفرع بختيار بيرزاده الأزهري، بالتهنئة القلبية، معتبرين إياه قرارًا موفقًا.
قال الرئيس بختيار بيرزاده: “منذ تأسيس فرع المنظمة العالمية لخريجي الأزهر في المملكة المتحدة عام ٢٠١١، استفدنا من حكمة الدكتور عبد الدايم نصير وبصيرته والتزامه. إن خدمته الطويلة للأزهر وإمامه الأكبر شهادة على كفاءته ورؤيته الثاقبة. إن تعيينه في مجلس الشيوخ المصري سيعزز قضية خدمة وطنه وشعبه. نتمنى له كل التوفيق”.
وعبّر الدكتور عبد الدايم نصير عن امتنانه وتواضعه لتعيينه عضوًا في مجلس الشيوخ. وقال: ” هذا يعد تكليفا مهما ونرجو أن نكون على قدر هذه المسئولية “. وأكد الدكتور عبد الدايم: “من خلال الخبرة والتخصص سيكون ملف التعليم أهم الملفات التي سيتم العمل عليها؛ لأنه يحتاج إلى الكثير من التفكير ، كما أنه عماد أي مجتمع، فأي مجتمع لا يبنى إلا بالتعليم.” وأوضح نيته في إحياء القيم المصرية، لا سيما في القطاعين الاجتماعي والاقتصادي.
