During the final moments of the month of Ramadan, Al-Azhar Alumni UK, which is the UK Branch of the World Organisation for Al-Azhar Graduates, was honoured to host and welcome the talented and learned Imam of the historic mosque of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Shaykh Hani Sa’d Mahmud al-Azhari. The UK tour was managed and coordinated by Darul Qurra and Islamic Research Centre of Birmingham.
During his stay at the UK Branch, Shaykh Hani had a sitting with the President of Al-Azhar Alumni UK, Shaykh Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada, who gifted him with his literary masterpiece, the 7-volume Arabic commentary of the Qur’an, ‘Imdad al-Karam fi Tafsir Khayr al-Kalim’. Shaykh Hani signed the visitors’ book, toured the entire campus and met various senior graduates of Al-Azhar University in the UK.
