Some photos from the blessed gathering of Dala’il al-Khayrat held at the Darul Qurra Centre in Birmingham (UK) on Saturday 3 June 2023.
Jointly organised by Darul Qurra and Al-Azhar Alumni UK, the gathering hosted the learned and prominent scholar of Al-Azhar, in Egypt, Shaykh Dr Yosry Roshdy Elsayed Gabr, who is currently on tour in the UK. Many young people from around the country attended the event as well as local Imams and scholars.
The Vice-President of Al-Azhar Alumni UK, Bakhtyar Pirzada al-Azhari, was in attendance and delivered a talk to the audience. Shaykh Dr Yosry Gabr gave a meaningful lecture on Dala’il al-Khayrat of Imam al-Jazuli and led recitation of a short passage from it. He further gave all attendees Ijazah (licence) to recite this book of prayers upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
During the evening and meeting, the Vice-President of Al-Azhar Alumni UK introduced the work and projects of the UK Branch of the World Organisation for Al-Azhar Graduates.
